Fusion Structural Materials

The work is a part of the ongoing research in the field of materials for fusion. The task is to perform Master Thesis or Internship.

The work will consist of mechanical testing and FEM modelling of the mechanical properties of baseline fusion materials such as CuCrZr and Steels. Objective is to deduce the tensile properties and translate them to FEM constitutive model The work will be performed in the period FEB 2026-SEP 2026. The work will be performed in the group of Structural Material experts. The work is embedded in the large-scale project called EUROfusion. If further information is needed, please contact us.
